Exercise Philosophy

Our goal is that people go through life mobile and pain-free. This can be achieved with focused movement and proper joint alignment. Balance starts with proper body mechanics. Flexability and strength will develop with practice.

 

Be Productive

Our motivation is to have you outside in nature moving around, breathing in fresh air doing something that you love. Use your imagination you know what you enjoy!

 

What do we Consider Exercise? 

We consider any constant movement for 20 minutes a day as exercise. Understanding that we are all at different points in our lives with activity level, health and motivations. We would like you to be doing the things that are both positive and bring joy. When you energy is charged, your focus is up and your passionate you know you have found the correct form of exercise. 

 

Where to Start?

Foundation is everything. A professional personal trainer will take you through a fitness assessment testing your flexibility by a series of movements. Questioning your health history including but not limited to; injuries, major surgeries, illness, blood pressure and heart health. 

 

Some of us like to do everything alone but a joint assessment is something that should be done with a professional observing the movements. 

 

Ears over Shoulders

The body balances around the neck joint. Always be conscious of your head placement. Many issues of forward head posture, back and hip issues start with a misaligned head. It should be a rule to have your ears over your shoulders. 

 

Suggestions

We believe your goal should be balance, breathing, and peace during your exercise and into your existence. 

If you feel you are capable and your body agrees, we are advocates of controlled movements taught in yoga. We promote this practice because the focus is to lengthen muscles find strength in balanced movements while being at peace.
